HSB Day 2

Sep 30, 2023 | Art, Music, Sake

Got a great start thanks to 38th Ave Mark D, perfect entry to Swan Stage at 9:10 am

Saw some old friends and some new, Stern Grove revisited

Stevie B slid in around 9:45 and we were all set to go, but the show wasn’t til 11

Sunny War

Started off with Sunny War,

an eclectic duo who lost their drummer due to the epic NYC floods, so a tandem they were, had nice infield chatter and soothing tunes to start the day

Next up was Hermanos Gutierrez, another cool duo with an amazing sound, guitar virtuosos the two of them, definitely the sum was greater than the parts

Next up was the Bahamians ? A littler Jack Johnsonish for me, sorry ,but no pics for them

The place was a packed greater than I have ever seen, but I had an escape route set up and what would have taken 44 mins to maneuver was over in 5.

Another Saturday cut short cuz of Sake Day, but here I await the hr line to get in

Let them stand and wait, I’ll relax for my 90 min libation intake
